Description The tanks of Investigation 2 are connected by a pipe and water is filled into the tanks to different heights. There is an additional hose attached to the larger tank serving as an outlet. Water flows from the larger tank (having the higher level of water initially) to the smaller tank and out into the open. At some point, the level in the smaller tank reaches its maximum. From then on, the level in the smaller tank is higher than in the larger tank. Both levels decrease with time until the tanks are empty. | |
