CHAPTER 1  >  CASE STUDIES
Here you find suggestions for case studies. Cases are relatively complex real-life applications that can serve to define the physics to be learned in this chapter.

The Main Case in this chapter deals with the flow of blood in mammals (data of blood flow in a sheep is given). If we do not attempt to model the entire cardiovascular system but only a part of it, the application is manageable for an introductory case.
Main Case
There are many more real-life applications that can serve as an introduction to the physics and engineering of fluid systems. Just think of communal water supply, irrigation in agriculture, etc.
