Pohl's Pendulum: Damped and driven rotational oscillator

Description

A copper wheel is mounted on a hotizontal axis and atteched to a torsion spring so it can oscillate about this axis.
Additionally, the wheel can be damped by the use of an electro-magnet (eddy current brake) whose strength can be varied. Furthermore, the wheel can be driven harmonically with the help of a motor.
Various types of motion can be investigated with the help of this device: damped oscialltion, driven (and damped) oscialltion, and the phenomenon of resonance can be investigated.
