Fluids present us with some of the most vivid and most easily studied physical processes. What we learn here will carry over into the other fields – namely, electricity, heat, chemical substances, and motion. The image upon which models of fluid processes are based has two major aspects. One, dynamical fluid phenomena are the result of storage and flow of quantities of fluid, and two, pressure differences are the driving forces of these processes. |
