This is a course for those of you who want to learn about physics as a systems science and who want to be able to apply physics in their own disciplines such as earth science, biology, chemical engineering, medicine, or ecology, to name just some of the possible fields. The course combines the explicit study of dynamical systems with that of the principles of physical and chemical processes in fluids, electricity, heat, sub-stances, and motion and their interactions.
Five chapters give you access to materials in the fields of fluids, electricity, heat, substances, and motion.Two chapters discuss general themes: energy in physical and chemical processes and dynamical systems.Collections of tools and lists of materials. |
