What this chapter is all about…

 
 

We may look at Dynamical Systems (a theme in mathematics, physics, the sciences and engineering) as a generalization of what we have done in the chapters on physical and chemical phenomena. There we have used concepts from systems science for learning about and dealing with natural and technical systems. Here we will take a look at what we have achieved from a mathematical perspective. We will learn about temporal patterns and strucutre and behavior of dynamical systems.
