Storing fluids in tanks
Description
When more of a fluid is added to a storage system, the pressure of the fluid rises. This is the case for liquids in open tanks, blood in the aorta, or gas or liquids in pressure vessels.
Data is presented for liquids in different open tanks. The pressure of the liquid at the bottomof the tank is measure as a function of volume of liquid.

Discharging oil tanks
Description
Oil is drained from a cylindrical tank through a horizontal glass pipe fitted at the bottom of the tank. Data of the oil level as a function of time is taken.

Changing flow speed and pressure
Description
Water flows out of a wide tank through a long horizontal pipe fitted at the bottom. The water flows from the wide tank into the narrow pipe which makes the flow speed change.
The pressure of the water is measured at different points along a flow line going from the top of the tank to the end of the pipe.
Data of the water level in the tank and of a vertical pipe above the horizontal outflow near the tank is taken.
